Periods 1,2,5
  • Bell work: Students answer reading question: What did Brian make to get to the plane? on google classroom.
  • Students get onto narrative document and continue working on narratives.
  • Resolution: Introduce Resolution
  • Work time: students will work on their resolutions or any scene they have not completed yet.
  • Editing: Students switch chromebooks with their editors and editors look give feedback on the falling action.
  • Exit ticket:
How my gets rescued is _____. It is tied to my character's growth because_______.


Period 4:
  • Bellwork: Students answer reading question: What did Brian make to get to the plane? on google classroom.
  • Students continue get onto their narrative documents and continue working on their narratives
  • Climax: Introduce Climax.
  • Work time: students will write their climax.
    • Exit ticket:
      My character shows their change by doing _________, which shows their change because ________.
Homework
Periods 1,2,5:
READ CHAPTER 18: It will be on google classroom. 
Finish any part of their narrative that we have worked on so far that is not complete: Hook/intro, Setting, and Inventory scene. 
Due by class time Thursday 3/1.

Period 4:
READ CHAPTER 18: It will be on google classroom. 
Finish any part of their narrative that we have worked on so far that is not complete: Hook/intro, Setting, and Inventory scene, Rising Action 1 and 2. . 
Due by class time Friday, 3/2. 

The end of unit four is Friday 3/2: The students' survival narrative writing assessment for unit 4 is due by 3/2.

Remember period 1 to sign and turn in the Home Energy Action
form if you want to support Rocky Top
and save energy in your home.

Do not forget to purchase a copy of Hatchet so your student can have a copy at home since the classroom copies stay in the classroom.
