  • Continue pre-writing for Argumentative Essay: Finish transposing introduction, start body paragraph: numbering strongest to weakest reasons, transitions.

Reminders

Periods 2,4,5 had a Socratic Seminar assessment on Monday, and Period 1 had theirs on Tuesday. If your student was absent on the day their class had the Socratic seminar, make sure that they schedule a make-up day with me.

  • Bell work: Fragments and Run-Ons Practice 2. 
  • Continue pre-writing for Argumentative Essay: Compiling the claim, reasons, and evidence students gathered for the Socratic seminar into the "Writing an Argumentative Essay" organizer. 



Homework
Periods 2,4,5: Complete Fragments and Run-Ons Worksheet 2. Due Friday, 12/1 by class time.

Period 1: Finish filling out the hook from the "Writing an Essay" organizer. Due Friday, 12/1 by class time.
