W.6.9.a Apply grade 6 Reading standards to literature (e.g., "Compare and contrast texts in different forms or genres [e.g., stories and poems; historical novels and fantasy stories] in terms of their approaches to similar themes and topics").
Activities	April 6, 2018 Bellwork: Students will copy and paste their literary analysis introductions into the introduction check document on google classroom, then independent read. Mini-Lesson: Rehash body paragraphs and editing and giving feedback norms. Work time: Finish their body paragraphs 1 and 2. Active engagement: Peer editing and feedback. Exit ticket: Self-evaluation Self-evaluation on their use of time while writing. What clarifications they would like me to go over tomorrow.
Homework	Periods 1,2,5: Finish their body paragraphs 1 and 2 for their literary analysis essay by class time Monday, 4/9.
