  • Bell work: Reading for 15 minutes, Spelling Bee pretest.
  • Continue prewriting for Argumentative Essay: adding explanations to body paragraphs. 



Homework
Read for 30 minutes and put it on your reading log in google classroom under “11/7 Online Reading Logs”


Reminders

Periods 2,4,5 had a Socratic Seminar assessment on Monday, and Period 1 had theirs on Tuesday. If your student was absent on the day their class had the Socratic seminar, make sure that they schedule a make-up day with me.

Hygiene Drive for the Homeless!!

Aspen House is being asked to donate toothpaste, tooth brushes and men’s deoderant.

  • Continue pre-writing for Argumentative Essay: Compiling the claim, reasons, and evidence students gathered for the Socratic seminar into the "Writing an Argumentative Essay" organizer.

Periods 2,4,5: Complete Fragments and Run-Ons Worksheet 2. Due Friday, 12/1 by class time.
