Objectives	RI.6.6 - Determine an author’s point of view or purpose in a text and explain how it is conveyed in the text. RI.6.8 - Trace and evaluated the argument and specific claims in a text. W.6.1 - Write arguments to support claims with clear reasons and relevant evidence. W.6.9 - Draw evidence from informational text to support analysis, reflection, and research.
Activities	November 28, 2017 Read 3 essays with a partner and identify which is Opinion Writing, Persuasive Writing, or Argumentative Writing.
Homework	Students from Period 1 are reading 30 minutes and logging their reading on google classroom under “11/7 Online Reading Logs” Periods 2,4,5: Sentence Fragment and Run-on Worksheet (handout, not on google classroom). Due by class time tomorrow, 11/29.
