Bellwork: Students will answer the question on google classroom. Mini-lesson: Model what to annotate for when taking notes to analyze how two articles portray the same event. Read Thayer Memoir. Students will take notes while reading. Briefly summarize the article then answer the prompt: How does "into the Dark Water" present the sinking of the Titanic? |
