Activities	February 6, 2018 Periods 1,2,5 Warm up: Students copy down definition of theme Man v. Nature. Read Chapter 9 of Hatchet Partners read section from chapter 7 (bear scene) annotating for how Brian is interacting with nature. Individually, the students read section from chapter 9 examining how Brian is interacting with nature and how this scene develops this theme in the book. Exit ticket: The author contributes to development of the theme on page ---- by describing -----

Reminders	Remember period 1 to sign and turn in the Home Energy Action form if you want to support Rocky Top and save energy in your home. Do not forget to purchase a copy of Hatchet so your student can have a copy at home since the classroom copies stay in the classroom.
