Objectives	RI.6.6 - Determine an author’s point of view or purpose in a text and explain how it is conveyed in the text. RI.6.8 - Trace and evaluated the argument and specific claims in a text. W.6.1 - Write arguments to support claims with clear reasons and relevant evidence. W.6.9 - Draw evidence from informational text to support analysis, reflection, and research.
Activities	November 16, 2017 Finish finding evidence in "Should Kids Do Extreme Sports?" to support their argument and fill out Socratic Seminar Worksheet.
Homework	Homework: Read for 30 minutes Remember that the reading logs are on google classroom under “11/7 Online Reading Logs”
Reminders	Next week is Thanksgiving Break! Canned Food Drive!!! Bring those canned or dry food items to your 1st hour teacher or to the office!!   Socratic Seminar Assessment for Unit 3 is on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. Library Checkout  Day  is not until after Thanksgiving Break
